Samaer Gill is an experienced teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the
primary/junior education industry in the Hamilton, Ontario area and has recently joined the
unlearn team. Samaer earned his BA from Brock University, BEd focused in Primary/Junior
from Nipissing University, and is currently completing his MEd virtually with the University of
Ottawa with a focus in studies in teaching, learning, and curriculum development. Samaer fell in
love with education watching the Harry Potter series and has been searching for his own way to
create magic with education. He always had a vision early on to transition beyond the classroom
and critically examine the equitable opportunities and learning environments for all stakeholders
in the education system, and expand this knowledge to other industries and sectors. Some of his
interests include technology in education, writing, creating music, watching movies, and
television. Away from work, you might find Samaer at a local theater to watch a new or
anticipated movie.
